April 2017

Rain and Wind bring puddles, rainbows and kites.  And Mermaids...

Spring Break
For Spring break we wanted to do something a little fun but close so before Nick got off I took the girls to the Sea Aquarium.  The next day we took the girls to see "Beauty and the Beast" and then drove to Brigham City to eat at Maddox and swim at the pool.  The next day we went to Crystal Hot Springs and our friends the Vansickles met us there for swimming and water slides.  The girls had so much fun and were happy and thankful that we got to spend time as a family!

Easter Dresses and 26 weeks along.

Avey always making us smile!  Play date with her friend Jon and playing with the Yslas.

Molly was awarded first place for the state of Utah in the primary grades for the Minecraft song she wrote for reflections.  So proud of this girl!

For Easter Nana got the girls spoon dolls to make from their recent trip to Nauvoo.  The girls loved making them.  They also got stepping stones to paint which they loved doing one Sunday afternoon.

Painted faces from a literacy day the school sponsored.

Molly got her 3rd degree yellow belt in Aikido.

Easter this year was pretty fun and laid back.  We decorated eggs with shaving cream this year and they turned out really cool.  The next morning the East Bunny had hid the eggs and brought gifts.  Then we went to Eagle Mountain and enjoyed lunch with the Sidwells.  The kids had a huge egg hunt and the adults had an egg hunt too.

One Sunday our friends Keenan and Ziandra came over and showed us their gemstones.  Molly had been wanting to show them her rock collection so Keenan show her his.  They loved looking at them with the tweezers and cleaning them after.  Keenan even gave some to Molly to keep.

We started the month with a small inside renovation.  I got super ambitious since I wasn't showing up anymore and painted our bedroom.  I decided all the ceilings in the house needed painting too so we had Caden come and help us paint.  The kids loved getting to see him.  He made us yummy fettuccini for lunch and apple dumplings.
