Christmas 2014

We went to Eagle Mountain a few days before Christmas to spend time with Nick's parents.  Nick and Keith worked on their guns that they are building and the girls played, watched Christmas movies and cooked.  On Christmas Eve Kims family came over and we had a yummy dinner and played minute to win it games.  Then the girls opened their Frozen pajamas.  They were so excited and Molly couldn't wait to get to sleep so Santa could come.  So magical.

On Christmas morning, Molly work up about 5 but we sent her back to bed until 7ish.  Then we went upstairs and opened our presents.  We had not had snow in December at all, but welcomed a huge snow storm on Christmas day.  Molly had asked Santa for an easy bake oven, and she must have been good because that is what she got!  Avey got a new baby doll.  The both got a lot of Frozen things, socks, and movies.

Right around 8 that morning Elder Sidwell called from his mission in Poland!  It was so great to see/hear from him.  He seemed really great and it was such a treat to talk!

The rest of the day was filled with eating and playing.  Kim and her family came back over and the kids played most of the day.

The day after Christmas we headed to Price for a day and night.  John and Jessica and their families were there so the kids had cousins to play with.  We played a lot of nerts and ate and visited.

Molly at her last day of school sing along.
Going to see the Layton Lights with the Prince family.

 Watching the snow.

The Stockings were Hung...

A few shots of the house on our first Christmas on Creekside Way!

Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert

A few weeks before Christmas we got tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert with special guests...The Sesame Street Muppets.  We met Keith, Ali, Cambria and Crystal there.  It was incredible.  Defiantly got me in the Christmas spirit!

Tone Bells

Molly has loved her "Lets Play Music" class this year.  One thing they have learned to use is the tone bells.  Molly is getting pretty good with them.  These pics are of Avey trying to play like her sister.

Tamales

This years tamales were kind of a flop.  (Super disappointing for something that takes ALL DAY to make!)  I even bought my peppers and corn husks from the hispanic store.  Next year I am making up my own recipe.

Mollys Store

We have been busy going through rooms.  Last week Avey moved into Mollys room so we moved to office upstairs to Aveys old room.  With that came a time to go through things.  Some of the things that were heading to DI, a cousin, or friend I put on the kitchen table and Molly made her own store all by herself.  Pretty clever.
