Primary Program

Molly and I survived our first primary program.  I am the chorister for the Sr. Primary.  It went really well and the kids did a great job.  Molly didn't have a part, but sang the songs.  She knows all the songs, but was pretty distracted the entire time.  She sure looked beautiful though.  She wore a dress that my mom bought for Caroline several years ago.  It wasn't in the best of shape, so I took it apart and fixed it.  We dressed Avenley in the outfit Molly wore and tried to recapture a similar photo.  Not a lot of luck.  Avey never holds still.
She insisted on tights and socks.  :)

Avey and Molly in same outfit.  Molly had much more hair...and darker too.  Such sweethearts!

A Broken Heart

About a week ago Molly woke up in the middle of night screaming.  When I got downstairs, she was shaking and had a hot fever.  She said her heart hurt.  I gave her some water and she went back to sleep.  A few hours later she woke screaming again.  Nick went this time and brought her to bed with me telling me her heart was racing.  She still had a fever so we gave her some Tylenol.  A few hours later she seemed to be feeling a little better but she kept saying her heart was broken.  Nick felt like we should take her to the doctor so I did.  When we got there and they took her heart rate it was very fast so the Doctor ordered an EKG and chest x-ray.  Her heart was fine thankfully and he assumed she had an infection somewhere in her body causing the fever and racing heart.    He gave her a zpak and the next day she was a different child.  Thankful she is healthy again.

Happy Anniversary to Me :)

Nick got me these rings for our anniversary but they had to be spcial ordered to fit my small fingers and I just got them yesterday.  They are stackable rings.  One is a garnet (red) for mine, Molly's and Cherishs birthdays, one saphire (blue) for Nicks and one ruby (pink) for Avenleys.

First Day of Preschool

We are doing a nother Joy School this year with Molly and her friends Tag Cravin, Elsie Krowll, Spencer Krowll, and Aubrey Stock.  Today they did "All about Me" and made stick people.

Little Avey and I hung out upstairs because another mom was teaching today.  I think it is so cute that she anticipates the flash and scrunches her eyes.

Christmas in September

For Christmas mom and dad got us all a vacation away from home.  This weekend was the weekend we could all be together so it was time to celebrate.  On Friday we went to the hotel in Salt Lake.  We arrived soon after mom and dad and then went to dinner at CostaVida.  Soon Johns family arrived and we all went down to swim in the pool.  Of course both girls loved it!  Back up to the rooms for showers and then I put Avey to bed (mom babysat in our room) and we went and played a game of Monopoly Deal.  Jessica and Sherstins families arrived soon after.

In the morning we ate breakfast and headed to the Hale Center Theater.  Julias sister Kimmie and her husband watched Avey and Wesley and the rest of the kids were old enough to go.  We saw the play Tarzan.  It was amazing!!  That was my favorite part of the day!

Next we drove to Chuckie Cheese and had pizza and played games.  Mom stayed with the little kids there and we all headed next door for some lazer tag.  Another highlight of the trip.  It was so much fun!  The first game we played I took second place out of everyone being beat only by Bart!  I was pretty proud of that.  Unfortunately that meant I had a target on my back and the second game I scored pretty bad.

Last we went to Cowabungabay for some swimming.  It was a little chilly and overcast, but it was still a lot of fun.  I like that it is a very family friendly place.  We ate dinner at Chuck-o-rama and the vacation was over.  It was such a fun trip!  We love having Christmas in September.
