Sunday Sweeties

Love these girls!

Fairy Magic

Molly has been coorisponding with a fairy in our yard.  She painted some little houses to make a villiage and has been writing letters and drawing pictures.

Dance Recital

Molly had her dance performance this last week and it was so magical.  It has been so fun to watch her become more coordinated.  She was the star of the show giving such beautiful smiles.  She even led her group in a skipping part on stage.  Both grandparents were able to come and support Molly.  She felt so special!

Working Hard and Hardly Working

The last few weeks have been busy!  We have been doing projects in the house and around it.  We had our roof redone last week.  Luckily we didn't have to do a lot for that since John had one of his roofers come.

We painted the front family room and Avenleys room.  The color is called toasted cashew and I really like the warmth of it.  One step closer to having the hose where I want it.

We also added a FULL truck load of dirt to the front lawn and reseeded with grass.  There was a pretty noticeable valley in the yard so we filled it in.

We planted the garden and strawberries.  We finished cleaning out more weeds by the back fence and planted wildflowers.

When we weren't working, we were RESTING.  We have been really enjoying the backyard and all the big trees.  Nick loves his Sunday nap in the hammock.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!  This holiday was such a hard one for me for so long and I don't take it for granted that I am now a mother.  Although, today after being up sick all night, I was thatnkful for a husband to take over my mom duties today so I could rest.  I love being a mother.  It is truly the BEST thing I have done!  I feel closer to the spirit each day as I seek guidance on how to raise them.  They are my heart!

Yesterday we were blessed to spend much of the day with the Sidwells.  We went to Kims house for lunch-Pizza, salad, garlic bread and cheesecake.  It was so nice and fun to enjoy our time visiting.  I am blessed to be part of such a wonderful family!  So thankful I married into the Sidwell family!  They are so good to me.

I'm also thankful for my own mom.  Her type 3 personality kept me moving forward through life and her testimony helped my to develop.  She is kind, giving, loving and fun.  Love you Mom!

Preschool Graduation

Last Monday Molly graduated from Preschool.  When we lived in Price, I started a little neighborhood Joy School.  When we moved to Farmington, I continued it with new friends and we finished the year with those same friends traveling to Kaysville.  I have loved teaching my girl and seeing her strengths and weaknesses.  Some of her strengths are the sounds the letters make.  She can also write all of them. She isn't as confident with the small letters or numbers but has just started reading short vowel words.  She is great at drawing and super meticulous with how she draws, writes and colors.  The other teachers were Tina Stock, Stephanie Cravin and Alisa Crowell.
