Rainy Day

Since today was super wet and rainy and Nick had the mooring off...A new fairy house is being built!

Fun Day at Farmington Station

There are a ton of pics of Avey, but it was so cute to see her dancing!

Look at those eyes!!

Happy 24th of July

For the 24th of July this year, Keith and Ali came up for a BBQ.  We ate so much yummy food and enjoyed playing a game of 5 crowns.  (Nick and I lost miserably)  Then we did some pops and some sparklers.  It was a fun, relaxing night.  I didn't do much to make me think about the pioneers, but someone posted a clip on FB about the pioneers and I found myself tearing up while watching it.  It reminded me of my time in Nauvoo.  I am thankful for my pioneer ancestry.

Christmas in July

The last few years my parents have gotten us a trip for Christmas.  We cashed in a few weeks ago.  On Friday July 11th we met Nick in Salt Lake and went to dinner at Cracker Barrel with my parents and the Hatches.  Then we went back to the motel to visit and swim.  Nick took the girls swimming so I could hang out with the girls and talk.  (All about my niece Yaerli's love life.  :))  It was Julia's birthday so we had cookies in the lobby and then played games until bedtime.  On Saturday we went to Mary Poppins at the Hale Theater.  It was spectacular!  Love seeing plays there!  Then we went to Chuckie Cheese and the kids played and we ate lunch.  We went next door to a laser tag place and played laser tag.  Then we went to Cowabunga Bay.  The kids had a blast.  Avey was old enough to go down some of the little slides and she did it over and over again.  I was amazed at how much more confident Molly has been in the water since swimming lessons.  She also loved it!  Then we headed to Chuck-o-rama for dinner.  It was a SUPER fun weekend and went way to fast, but so memorable!

I wish I would have brought my camera, but I'm thankful Sherstin snapped a few shots for us!

Whitehead Reunion

I realized I never posted about our Whitehead Reunion in June.  We had such a nice time but since I forgot my camera I didn't have any pictures until now.  On our first night there we had dinner and then went to a dance studio where Jessicas friend Jamie taught us all how to dance to "Thriller."  We then watched some music videos that we made previous to the reunion.  Everyones videos turned out so great and it was so fun to see.  Mom and dad did their video to I hope you dance.  That became the theme of our reunion.  On Friday we spent the day at the lake boating and burning. Most of the girls stayed on shore and visited and played nerts.  that night we celebrated Nathans birthday.
On Saturday we launched rockets that the kids made from paper and duct tape.  The launcher was made by Bart and the kids had a blast.  Even Avey learned how to put her rocket on and push the button.  We ate lunch and then went to the school for a family baseball game.
I am so blessed to be part of such an amazing family!!  Seriously I love them all and am blessed to call them mine!
