Snowboarding

This weekend Nick took Molly snowboarding for the first time, with Johns family.  Nick said she was terrified when she was at the top of the lift, but she did really well and had a really fun time!  She was so happy to have a fun date with her dad and so proud of herself for "being a snowboarder."

It's Groundhog Day

Our 2016 Groundhog Day celebration:  Groundhog DID NOT see his shadow so we celebrated Spring on its way.  The Hobbs family joined us for groundhog pancakes and some treats.

Loosing Teeth

Finally Molly lost a tooth!!  Poor girl was the only on in her class that had not lost a tooth but she finally did it!  The two middle bottom ones were pretty loose for a while, but I think she was afraid to do anything with them.  Then one day I went to pick her up from school and she had a tooth box to show me!  She was so excited!  Then the following day, she let her dad pull out the other one with pliers.  Such a fun part of growing up!

Speaking of growing up.  Molly went for her well child check.  She was in the 5th percentile for height and 10th for weight.  My little petite girl!

I love to see the Temple

The end of January the girls and I went to stay with Johns family one night so Julia could watch Avey and Molly and I could go to the new Provo City Center temple open house.  It was SO BEAUTIFUL!  I know people say that about all temples but it was truly unique.  Molly and I had a great time and both felt the spirit.  Then we went to Dennys for breakfast and then to BYU for the Norman Rockwell art exhibit.  Norman Rockwell has been a favorite of mine since I was about Mollys age and I really wanted her to see his art.  In Molly's words, "This was a great morning!"
