Hair Talk

I'm not sure if I want to remember this or not...but for documenting sake, Molly HATES getting her hair done.  If I can put her in front of a movie, she tolerates it, but almost always, she looks in the mirror after and starts crying and says she hates her hair.  A little dramatic for a 4 year old.  Seriously...who cares?!?  She is SO picky about how it looks.  I thought it was because of how long it was getting so about a month ago mom trimmed off about 2 inches.  The tantrum didn't end so last Sunday I took a turn with the scissors and chopped it to her shoulders.  I personally love how it turned out.  For Molly, it depends on the minute.  She still fights me to do it and still says she doesn't like the way I do it when it is done.  I guess I didn't win the battle by cutting it, but I like it anyway.

Here are a few of Avenley too.  She got her bangs curled for the first time today.

At 11 months Avenley is:

1. SO BUSY!!  She is crawling everywhere and climbing on everything!
2.  Really loves mommy!  She wants to be held if I am around.
3.  Wears size 3 diapers and 9 month clothes.
4.  Usually wakes around 4am to eat and then sleeps until 8-9am.
5.  Likes to be outside but hates her car seat.
6.  LOVES her blankie and drags it aound with her while she is crawling.
7.  Signs please and water.
8.  Blows kisses.
9.  Is getting her 3rd tooth (top right)  Doesn't like teething and is more cuddly, but not super fussy.
10.  Loves to cuddle and give kisses.
11.  Make us so happy and full of joy everyday!

(Lots of pics.  I couldn't narrow it down.)

Jump Around

Jumping on our neighbors trampline.

Don't worry.  She didnt fall or anything.  She just didn't like the sun in her eyes.

Heritage Park Picnic & Cemetery

Most of our summer pictures will most likely be here or Lagoon since we have summer passes to these places.  Yesterday Nick was doing some home health in Salt Lake, so after Avey's nap we met him at Heritage park.  We only had an hour before closing time so we went in and did a craft and Molly rode the pony.  After it closed we had a picnic and headed to a wedding reception for a college friend.  On the way to the reception we stopped at the cemetery where Jason is buried.  We were planning on stopping there over memorial day, but ran out of time, and since the cemetery was a few blocks from the wedding we stopped.  I thought they would have a place that told a directory of where people were buried, because this place was HUGE, but didn't find anything like that and finding it without a directory would have been impossible.  We were just about to leave when we drove right by his marker.  Coincidence? Maybe, but I was thankful we were able to see it and think of him for a moment.  I took a picture of the marker with my phone, but I don't know how to get it off my phone.  No headstone yet, but he was buried close to his dad.
Avey got this cute hat from Aunt Sherstin.

Playtime

Last weekend we went to Price to help some friends mom and to visit mom and dad.  Molly was so excited to see grandma and grandpa.  We had a lot of fun at the dino park, working in the yard and being together.  Molly got her hair cut (2 inches) and Avey got a trim off her bangs.  I got mine cut too.  Love these shots.  In the last one you can see how happy Avey was about getting a trim.

What we have been doing a lot of...

Day at the Park

Today we went to the park with my friend Breana and her two kiddos Olivia and Samantha.  The kids had a blast and so did the moms.  Love time outside visiting while the kids are happy.  Avey has only been on a swing once and loved it.
