It's a Girl!!

Yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound. I have to admit, I was really nervous. I remember too well the night before Jessicas 20 week ultrasound and talking about what they thought the baby would be...and then the next day learning that their baby Hunter wouldn't servive mortality. What a month of tears all from that ultrasound. It was good to hear that the baby looks healthy. Love hearing the heartbeat and seeing her move. Molly climbed on the bed with me and the lady showed her the screen where the baby was. She said, "oh, two babies". Another quick feeling of panic since Joseph and Jessie found out they were having twins on their 20 week ultrasound. Don't worry, Molly was wrong. Just one baby. When the tech said it was a girl, Molly said, "no, it's a boy". But from what we saw and what the tech saw, it is a girl. Honestly, I couldn't be more happy about it. It will be fun for Molly to have a sister and I feel like I know girls. I was a little nervous about all the changes if it were a boy, so this will be great. I was super surprised however since Molly has been claiming it is a boy since we told her there was baby in my tummy.

So as far as names go, we have a few in mind, but not positive about any. There are a few names that I like, but don't love the nickname that it might bring. I'm also not into trendy names but I am into family names. My grandma Whiteheads name was Della, which I don't love, but I do like Ella...however is it too popular of a name? Nothing drove me more crazy than when I was thing school and had several kids with the same name. Molly's middle names a part of my grandma Echers name, so it would be nice to use grandma Whiteheads too.?!

Another cool thing I don't want to forget is that Nick was able to feel our little lady kick last night for the first time. I have been feeling her for about a month, but it was exciting that Nick is able to feel her now too. I need to enjoy these movements before they get too hard and uncomfortable.

The house is supposedly officially sold. We signed the papers today and it should record tomorrow. I am happy to have the stress of the house gone, but I couldn't be more heartbroken to have that chapter of my life closed. We have been looking for apartments or houses from price to ferron and haven't found anything that we like or would be willing to pay for. I don't feel like I am too picky, but man, we can't find anything we would live in. Things are good at my parents, but it is hard to be our own family living in someone else's home.

My 3 Year Old!

I still had not had Mollys 3 year old pictures taken, so today while we were on a walk, I shot a few pics. I cant believe how much my baby has grown up. I took her to her 3 year well baby visit at the doctor when we were in Logan packing. She is now 26 lbs. (7th%) and 36.5 inches tall (40th%). Here is a sneak peek of a few shots.

Playing Catch-up Again!

This month has actually been pretty fun considering I am feeling a little better. It seems like it has been forever since I have actually felt...normal. Well, I still don't feel like myself, but to pass some time, we have done a few fun things as a family. First blowing bubbles in the garage since it was too clod outside.
A major event this month is that we have a buyer for our house. We couldn't be more happy about it, and sad at the same time. It means it is official. We really will not be residents of Logan Utah. But with that means moving on and that can always be exciting. (alittle scary too) We miss our friends and neighbors in Logan and we really miss our house, but look forward to what is ahead. On the 8th of February Molly and I headed up to Logan to pack the house. Thanks to Jess and Shalisha, we were able to get things done a ton quicker than I thought which was super nice. The plan is to actually load the truck this weekend and move it all to be stored in Price. We have been looking for a place here with no luck, so lucky mom and dad get to keep us a little longer. ;)

So...We have had snow time. Molly LOVES being in the snow. We can't keep her away. I hate how it takes like 20 minutes to get her ready to go out, but the smiles are worth it. She called her snowman Snowy-Snowy.
Molly is really loving her dance class with Miss Julia. She sings the snogs they dance to, and likes to do many of her ballet moves.
We took Molly to the dinosaur museum a few weeks ago and she loved it! She was pretty scared when Nick lifted her into the dinosaurs mouth, but loved looking for bones in the sand. Everytime we drive by the museum now she says, "Look Mom, its the dinosaur bones."
The next weekend, Uncle John and his family came to visit. Loved seeing and playing with his family. The adults got to play games while the kids played. These pictures are before church. All the girls looked so cute. This is my first pregnant picture at 16.5 weeks along. I CANT BELIEVE how big I am getting already. I'll have to show the difference a month makes when we find out what we are having next week. Crazy.
Valentines was next. Nick and Molly made cheese and chocolate fondu and we spent the night home as a family. The day was actually pretty stressful. Nick spun off the road on his way to work. He was okay and so was the car until a few hours later when he slid off again and this time did some damage to the car. Its still in the shop. :( I love the picture of Molly trying to catch the snow on her tongue.
