Our New Address

In a few more days this will be our new house!!  Feeling Excited!!

(and exhausted!)

Happy Birthday to Me

For my birthday on the 18th I woke up to roses and a sweet card from my sweethearts!  Mom and Dad took me to breakfast with my family, Lance and Keenan.  Then we went to watch Trinalee in a basketball game in Salt Lake.  That afternoon we went to dinner with our friends the Bodilys and Mickels.  Then the Mickels came over for cheesecake.  We didn't have enough candles so we used 3 single candles and a number 2 for the big 32!  It was a really fun day for me and I am so thankful for family and friends who show their love and spoil me!!  My friend Melodi took me out to lunch a few days later and my friend Kamela took me to ice cream.  I really am so spoiled and feel so blessed!

5 years old!!

My little girl turned 5 yesterday!!  I know people say this a lot, but I seriously CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!  She woke up to a surprise of balloons and streamers.  She asked for a scooter, unicorn cake and a unicorn shirt, so that is what she got.  She loved all of it.  Molly was so sweet all day and soaked in all the attention.  She took donuts to preschool and dance.  Her friend Aubrey brought her a unicorn cake too because she knew how much Molly likes unicorns.  Nana, Papa, Jeremy and Crystal came for dinner of pizza and then we went to Kangaroo Zoo until bedtime.  She got a card with a gift card from Grandma and Grandpa Whitehead and was so excited to have her own "credit card" to shop with.  I think her favorite gift was a pony/unicorn from Nana that she named Twilight.  (I made the white cake and her shirt.)

Packing Begins!

I started packing today while Molly was at preschool.  This is how I kept the little one busy.  She climbed into her toy box herself.

Wedding

Yesterday I was able to attend the wedding of one of the laurels I taught when we lived in Logan, Holly.  It was one of the most spiritual sealings I have been to.  I was so thankful to be invited and to be a part of it.  They had a photographer so I didn't want to step on toes, although I wish I would have brought my camera to the temple.  But I brought it to the reception and snapped a few shots.  I liked how they turned out.

January Weather

Molly and Avey both love to be outside.  Even if that means in the cold and snow.  Here are some pictures of them bundled ready to go outside with their friend Aubrey.

Pony Boy

Pony Boy, Pony Boy, won't you be my Pony Boy!  My girls are so blessed to have a daddy who PLAYS!

Caught!

While putting away Christmas a week ago I found this little one had dumped out all the m&m's and was enjoying herself.  She loves chocolate as much as her mom.

New Years

This year for new years eve we took the girls out to eat and then went to a friends house (James and Tina Stock) for games and snacks.  We were laughing our heads off and had such a fun time!  The kids did great too.  I have a great feeling about 2014!

Sidwell Exchange

On Monday I spent a lot of the day resting trying to get better.  Nick spent the whole day watching the kids, cleaning up the house, and even started dinner.  The Sidwells came up to Farmington and we had dinner and opened presents.  It was fun to see the kids open their presents but especially Avey since she was so sick the first time we opened presents.  We were SO BLESSED this holiday!  We have such great families and friends!

Unicorn

Nick and Molly made this beautiful unicorn instead of a snowman.  So creative!!

Christmas 2013

Despite being sick for most of the holiday we did have a good time with family.  Christmas Eve we did a fire in the fireplace and read some Christmas books.  Christmas morning Molly work us up and we opened presents.  Molly got a furby and was SO excited that Santa got her exactly what she wanted.  Avey was sleeping so when she woke up she opened her presents.  She cried most of the time and went right back to bed.  Later in the day we went to Price and enjoyed a dinner with my Grandpa Echer, Aunt Marilyns family and most of my family.  (Nick stayed at my moms with Avey)  We had some of my favorite foods and cookies there.  Lots of memories of my grandma and I enjoyed that.  The next few days were spent visiting, eating, watching movies and playing games.  On Sunday after returning home we went to West Jordan to have dinner with the Meifu side.  It was also great to get together with that side of the family.

MORE SICK

A few days before Christmas Avey continued to not be very well.  I woke up in the night with chills and aches....went to the doctor and had pneumonia.  Started meds but didn't really improve much either.  We decided to headed to Price anyway, thinking that we would get better soon, but spent most of the trip ill. Poor Avey was so lethargic and just cried and slept.  On New Years Eve we both started feeling better and I think we are on the mend.  So thankful for health again!  I went back to the doctor on Monday and my heart rate was still fast so they took blood and did an ekg.  I got results back today and everything looked good.
