Quiet Book

If you have tried to make a quiet book and don't really have sewing skills you know what a BIG project this was. It all started at Thanksgiving when both "moms" asked what Molly needed for Christmas. I told them both that all I wanted was a quiet book for Molly. Both Moms were a bit busy around the holiday. Ali (Nick's mom) sent me a pattern book and a few pages she had started for Jeremy (Nick's 15 year old brother) several years ago. My mom had a book that my aunt Marilyn had started 19 years ago but didn't finish. Between the two "half done" projects and a bunch more time and patience, Molly finally has a quiet book for church. She loves it and I am so glad because I don't think I will ever attempt one of those again. Thanks moms! (PS-Update: Molly has RSV and an ear infection. Staying in again. Man I can't wait for spring!

Supper cute book! I wish that Russell would sit still long enough to get all the way through a single book.

Poor Molly, we hope that she gets better fast, and that the green grass is right around the corner for you, and if not come and enjoy ours. :)

That book looks AMAZING! Molly is sure to love it for a long, long time. I know Hazel would. But my heart dropped when you said how hard/laborious it was making it. I would SO be one of those moms with just a page or two fifteen years later. I guess if I EVER see one that looks good at a store I should bite the bullet and just shell out the cash.

Can you finish my unfinished projects too?

That looks SOOO cute.

Yes, you could possibly sell those if you wanted to put in that kind of time. But you would have to charge a lot.

This reminds me of the Christmas tapestry you made me. I thought you said you would never do anything like that again.

I have a suspition this is not the last of these types of things from Sarah Sidwell. "So I think she's crafty."
