Molly's Baptism

This beauty was baptized a member of the church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints on February 4th.  I have many special memories stored in my mind with this little girl but this was one of my most favorite.  Molly was so excited and ready to be baptized!  The whole month of January we had FHE lessons to prepare her but she was already very much ready.  She was most excited to receive the Holy Ghost.  We took pictures a few days before in her dress.

On Saturday morning we set up for the lunch and then got ready.  She also chose a small simple beautiful white dress to actually be baptized in.  She looked so cute!  In the program, Molly and her cousins sang, "When I am Baptized."  Molly sang the second verse by herself while Yaerli played a violin solo.  It was so perfect and set the spirit.  Aunt Julia gave an awesome talk about baptism and Molly was so attentive.  Then it was time to be baptized.  Nick was able to baptize her.  I went to give her a towel after and she was ALL SMILES!  I asked her how she felt and she said HAPPY!  We changed into her other white dress and listened as Dallin gave a talk on the Holy Ghost.  He did such a great job too.  Then Molly received the Holy Ghost.  The whole meeting was so special and the spirit was so strong.

After the meeting, we had a lunch in another room off the kitchen.  Michelle had made cupcakes for us to be able to reveal that we were having a girl.  They were white cupcakes with pink frosting inside, so we gave one to each of the girls and had them take a bite and show everyone the pick.  We found out on Thursday before the baptism that we would be having another girl.  Molly and Nick couldn't wait to find out so I told them Friday before school, but it was how we told Avey and all of our families.  Added to a special day.  Then we ate and visited.  People brought soup and mom brought her famous rolls.  We also had cake made by Michelle and brownies made by Sherstin.

Oh how we love this Molly Girl!!  She has brought us more joy then I know how to express.
