Happy Birthday Avenley!

We celebrated Aveys birthday a day early so that both grandparents could make it.  First we had a fun friend party.  Avey wanted to have a mermaid party so Nick made some face cutouts for pictures, I made the cake and cupcakes.  Avery is blessed to have so many friends and should would have invited everyone, but we ended up with about 9 little girls playing in the pool and slip-n-slide.  Then that night we had grandparents, Sidwell cousins, the Bodilys and the Princes for cake and presents.  Avenley was so happy and had such a fun day!

Bowling

For Crystals birthday we were all able to meet up for some bowling.  We all had a great time, but Avey especially love it!

Cabin with the Moons, Micks, Sids and Bods

It has been over 10 years since we were all together...camping.  The moons got it all arranged and gave us all plenty of time to get it on the calendar!  We have been friends for 13 years and it was so fun to watch all of our children make connections with each other.  We stayed at the Moon cabin for one night.  Kids played amazingly well.  We went on walks, ate yummy food, chatted and laughed SO hard!  Such a great memory!

Archie

Last weekend Nick and I got to go to a David Archuleta concert in Sandy.  It was such a beautiful night, the music and messages were amazing!

Swimming Lessons

The girls both did swimming lessons this summer and they did not disappoint!  They girls learned a ton and had so much fun!!  Now that they are over both girls keep begging to go back.  I was so impressed with all they learned in one week!  Molly even went off the diving board a few times.  

Daddy Daughter Campout

The girls were blessed to go with Nick for the weekend to the stake daddy daughter campout.  They had a blast!  Avey said her favorite was riding the horse.  Molly said it was sleeping in the van.  Avey called it the teater-totter campout.  

Family Camping

We took our first family campout with all 4 of us.  We went to a campground in Huntsville.  The weather was nice, fishing was only ok, kids did pretty well.  Nice time as a whole family.  BUT...we did forget a sleeping bag so about 5 am we were all freezing!  We got warm in the van while Nick fished one more time and headed home.  After showers we all fell asleep on our bed and slept for several house.  lol
