Chorister

My husbands drawing skills have come in handy with my new calling as primary chorister.

This is what I used to start teaching songs for fathers day.

Can you guess what these are for?!?

In Memory

Yesterday we decorated graves with Nick's family.  Nick and I have been taking a family history class in church and have been really excited about learning about our ancestors.  We went to see the graves of his Grandma and Grandpa Sidwell, Uncle Marty and Grandpa Meifu.  I also saw my cousin Stacy Whiteheads grave.  Then we headed to the park for lunch and play.  So much fun!

Then Nick and I dropped the kids off with my sister in law Julia and we headed to the temple.  We went to the Draper temple for the first time and enjoyed doing sealings.  The spirit was really strong there and I was so thankful for the peace that the temple brings.  We watched Johns kids after that while they took a turn at the temple too.

Pics from Nick's Phone...

I don't get the pictures off Nick's phone often enough...so here they are in random order.

Dance Recital

Last night Molly had her second dance recital.  In her words, "That was fun, fun, fun!"  She is SO blessed to have such great grandparents and her Aunt Crystal, Aunt Jess and Matthew who came to support her.  Grandpa Echer came too and even brought Molly one of her favorite treats, Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches.  Before the recital Molly and I made cupcakes to share.  She played with Matthew for several hours and had a yummy dinner that Grandma and Grandpa Whitehead brought.

Molly did a great job dancing to a TeddyBear Lullaby and I Love my Beanie Baby.  I think the finale was her favorite because it had a fun BEAT.
