Birthdays

I still havent posted about Mollys and my birthdays. For Molly's birthday we headed to Provo the day before for the party she had been waiting. Even before Christmas she has been talking about going to chuck-e-cheese. We went up a little early and Nick and I went to the temple while Molly played at McDonalds with Nana, Papa, Jeremy and Crystal. Then to Chuck-e-Cheese. Molly was not disappointed and neither were we. We all had a magical time watching her play. Such a fun day. We also had a party the next day after church with Grandma and Grandpa. Molly is really loves Cheetos...can you tell. We also learned on my brithday that she loves cheesecake. She asked for it everyday after for about a week. Nick and my parents got my a lens for my camera. It hasnt come in yet, but I am excited about it. I am also going to take photography lessons soon, so that will be fun.

Things I don't want to forget

Just a few RANDOM things I don't want to forget: 1. Molly calls curious George, monkey s. George (not sure exactly why but it's what she always calls it when she wants to watch. 2. I'm already showing. 15 weeks along and I can't really fit in my regular clothes anymore. This is a big surprise because I could wear my clothes until about 20 weeks with Molly. 3. I am already feeling stuffed inside. I mean my ribs are already feeling like there is pressure on them. I don't know if that's even possible since last pregnancy the only thing I remember as far as my ribs with Molly was when she was big enough to be kicking at them. Maybe my other organs are moving up there...or maybe I'm making it up, but I swear it feels different. 4. I kind of think I have felt the baby a few times. Both times I was laying on my tummy in bed and I swear I felt something move. I keep thinking I should remember what it feels like but I only remember the big jabs at the end. I can't wait for the next few weeks when I can really feel the baby. 5. I can't sleep. I have a hard time falling asleep and just as hard of a time staying asleep. This is very strange for me since I usually sleep like a pro. And it is driving me crazy! I feel totally exhausted all the time. I try to not lay on the couch all day, but I feel like it. 6. I had a huge breakout on my face for the last 14 weeks. It is finally going away. I felt like a jr. high girl. 7. I still feel nauseous and still take zophran although I had a good week last week and thought I was done being sick...not so much this week. Kind of sad about that, but hope it will be done soon. 8. I was asked by a member of the stake presidency to teach just one class for an adult institute class that I have been attending. Super nervous. I won't be teaching it until feb. 16. 9. I'm going to start taking photography lessons. Exciting. 10. Today Molly got close to my tummy and kept kissing it. I told her the baby could hear her so she should sing the baby a song so she sang her abc's. 11. Still haven't narrowed down a name for a boy or girl for sure...we have a few ideas, but not exactly sure yet. I'm really not into trendy names and it seems like everything I have liked I'm starting to hear more and they are becoming more popular. When I taught school I hated when there were several kids in the class that had the same name. I thought it would be annoying for the kid to always have to respond when you hear the name. 12. Love this baby so much already!! 13. We had snow the other day. We haven't had much snow at all this winter, so it ws fun to play in it a bit with Molly. (mostly nick did the playing though). 14. It is already a little hard for me to hold Molly. Partly because she is getting bigger and partly because any pressure on my tummy makes me want to throw up. She is really good to hold me like she is hugging me when I hold her. It takes some of the pressure off. 15. Molly still loves nursury, but since we are in there with her and she is used to that, she has had a harder time since we are now rotating with other teachers. 16. The house is still for sale and we are still in the basement. Wish we were on our own, but can't complain one bit about living here. It has been such a help. 17. No bloody noses this round. When I was pregnant with Molly I got one just about everyday for the first tri. Glad not to worry about that. 18. I have the best family in the world!!!!

14 Weeks and FINALLY telling

This has been a LONG 14 weeks!! I am Pregnant and finally feel like I can tell someone. Because of a miscarriage at 10 week along several years ago and because it takes us so long to get pregnant, I have the hardest time telling anyone until I'm pretty far along, but yesterday we went in to see the baby and everything is going great! I couldn't be more thankful! We have been trying to have a baby for almost 2 years when we found out we were expecting. We had requested the prayers and fasts of our family and friends and the Lord answered those prayers. I started feeling sick right away...that is actually what clued me in before anything else. I was laying in bed one night not feeling well and asked Nick if he thought i might be pregnant. We are so used to late cycles, negative pregnancy tests, etc. that it didn't really cross my mind that I might actually be pregnant. The next morning, still not feeling well, I thought, what the heck, take a test just to rule it out as the reason i wasn't feeling good. What??? Positive!!! I couldnt even wait a hour before texting Nick and asking him if we were busy sometime in the middle of July. He called me to ask why and I told him. Then came the waiting...puking...sleeping...puking...doctors appointment...on hormone medication again...puking. It has been hard, but easier than it was when I was pregnant with Molly, thanks to my parents, Nick and Molly, and a wonderful drug called zophran. Still don't feel great, but I am starting to get a little energy back and I havent thrown up for about 2 weeks. My pants are already tight. (something that didn't happen until about 20 weeks with Molly...don't worry we made sure there was only one in there, im just getting bigger faster) I have no cravings and many adversions to food. Nick and I are thankful to be expecting and Molly seems to be excited as well. She keeps hugging my stomach and kissing it too. In her prayers she always blesses the baby.

Dance Day

Today was Molly's first day of dance. One of the great things about living here is that Julia teaches dance. Julia has been a great friend of mine for 20 years and has always loved dance. She is amazing at it too so I was so happy to put Molly in her class. Molly goes to class Monday and Wednesday for 45 min. She does tap and ballet. She seemed a little aprehensive at first...not wanting me to go, but she loved being there. All the other girls have been in the class since August so she is a bit behind, but she did pretty well. She is also the youngest dancer. (She starts kids at 3, but since Molly is close she let her start)

Christmas 2011

What a wonderful Christmas. I have to say I was feeling a little sad that we weren't in our own home for Christmas, but mom and dad made it extra special. They always make Christmas amazing. Molly absolutely loved everything about Christmas, from the boxes, wrapping, gifts, tree, lights, bells, music, etc. Santa was especially good toher and got her just what she asked for, fingerpaints. She also got a tangled doll and a cake decorating play-doh set. Nick and I bought her tap shoes and a dance outfit since she will begin dance lessons next week. So excited for that! She wouldn't take off the tap shoes for days. She even wanted to sleep in them, but I did talk her out of that. All my siblings came home Christmas night (except Joseph) for Christmas dinner at Grandpas. We did Christmas around the world so we each brought food from either countries of our ancestry or places from missions or military. It made for a nice buffet of all kinds of food.

The next 2 days were spent playing with cousins. LOVE having thefamily here. One reason Joseph didn't make it home for the holiday was because of their Christmas Eve surprise. Jessie gave birth to baby Joelle Marie. What a beautiful new niece.

Christmas Lights Trip

Last Friday we headed to SLC in the late afternoon. We picked up Nick's brother to hang out with us for a while. Checked into the Little America and went straight to the pool. Molly wouldn't have it any other way. She was so excited. After swimming, we ate at the motel and then got ready to go see the Christmas lights. Nana, Papa and Crystal stopped by the motel and we exchanged gifts, then we met them up on temple square...we had to take the tracks because we had told Molly she would get to ride on a train. We met Bart, Jess and the boys on the tracks. They hadn't eaten dinner yet, so we split was and stayed with the Sidwell's and looked at all the lights on temple square. Molly really loved it. She didn't complain one time about being cold. She especially liked the Christ statue. We took tracks home and went swimming again, per Molly's request and then went to bed. The room we booked just had a king size bed so we made Molly a little bed in the closet. She didn't stay in it long though. She has never slept with us, but after hours of waking up and crying we gave in and let her sleep with us.

When we woke up, we went swimming again, this time with Matthew and Dallin, Aunt Jess and Uncle Bart. Molly really loved having time with her best friends. We checked out and went to breakfast with the Jensens. They headed off to a family party and we went to the gateway. Molly got to see Santa and told him that she wanted paint fingers (fingerpaint). She was really cute with him. Then we spent the next few hours at the Childrens Museum at the gateway. We all enjoyed that place. So much to do and see. Molly also enjoyed the escalator and we had to ride it several times. Poor girl was SO tired so we left to head home a little earlier than planned. (We were tired too!!) Molly fell asleep after being int he car for a few minutes. For those of you who know Molly, she NEVER sleeps in the car, so we decided to head back to Price. On the way back we did stop for dinner in Lehi and met up with the Sidwell's again for smoothies and so Molly could spend more time with Nana and Papa. Such a FUN trip. We loved it!!

Im not sure if it was being too tired or what, but the night we got home Molly struck a fever and threw up, so Sunday Nick taught nursery while I stayed home. Molly napped practically all day.

We finally got all our Christmas shopping done. So glad to have everything ready. Now I know why my mom loved Christmas so much...buying for your children is SO MUCH FUN! I just wanted to buy everything. Can't wait for the big day!

We are having a Christmas around the World dinner on Christmas Night with my family and my mom's side. We are doing sushi from the Japanese side and Horchata from the Mexican side.
