Women's Confernce

Fishing in Music Group.

Last week I had the opportunity to attend Women's Conference at BYU with my sisters, mom, mother-in-law and aunt. It was the first time in a log time since I have attended the whole event. Thanks to my amazing father-in-law who watched Molly both days. She loved having time with Papa and I loved learning more about the gospel andbeing uplifted. We also had the chance to see a few friends throughout the weekend too.

Been working in the yard the last 2 days. It is really coming together, but has been a lot of work. Pictures to come...when the flower pots are done. I really have an itch to get some spring cleaning done, but haven't really had much time for it. Hopefully soon.

Here is a random picture, but I wanted to take a picture of Molly's cute hair one day.
She cracks me up everyday. Latley she has really liked dressing up. She will put on layers of clothes. Too cute.

Easter Weekend

I am a slacker. I didn't get any pictures of the the easter bunny baskets but here are a few from the day before. On Saturday we were in Eagle Mountain with the Sidwell's for brunch and an egg hunt. Molly loved looking for eggs and when she found there was candy in them she liked it even more. She got some super cute sunglasses that she thought she was pretty cool in. She also got a booster seat, hair ties, chalk, a bouncy ball, stickers, and lots of goodies. We tried to go to a production of Les Miserable in Orem as a Whitehead family but it was canciled due to a main water line break in the school. So sad!! We were able to visit with my brother and sisters families though so that was fun.

Family Date Night

The last few months have been stressful!! I decided it was time for a fun date night, but since we always have to get a babysitter for RS stuff, temple, etc. I decided to have Molly in on the date too.

Nick and I were into LOST the first 3 seasons but never watched from there, so I made a date night around the show LOST. I wish I could say the whole night was my idea, butI got most of what I did from here.

Here are some pictures:

Spring Break

This week has been spring break for Nick. The snow makes one wonder if it really spring or not, but anyhow it has been fun to have Nick home a few extra days.

Some of the things we have done:
Started with last weekend seeing some great friends who came up from Salt Lake for dinner and time together. That same night my parents came. We enjoyed general conference, yummy food and visiting as a family.

We worked in the yard. Pruned a tree and planted 2 more. Fertilized the yard. Built a shelf in the garage. Went through food storage and organized the pantry. Organized the shed. Deep cleaned Molly's room.

Went to baby animal days. Watched a few movies. Went on a date to "I am number 4" which we did like. Tomorrow we head to Lehi for my nieces baptism.

Here are some pictures from baby animal days. Molly absolutly loved it!! It was a cold, rainy day but we loved it. Molly said she liked the bunny and the choo choo train the most.

Happenings

This week Molly got sick AGAIN!! I feel like every post I do is about her getting sick. This one was a pretty quick one so that was good but it still kept us cooped up for a few days. The only thing that I secretly like about her being sick is that she loves to cuddle. She has never been a cuddler so I enjoy it.

Been staying busy with RS lately. Tomorrow we will do our first funeral lunch since i've been president. Hopefully it goes well and I don't forget anything. I did find this on my front porch the other day from a sister in the ward. It just said "Thanks for all you do." It totally made my day. This sister used to be an artist by profession so the card, pin and even the box were crafted by her. So sweet!!

We bought a new car about 3 weeks ago and have been trying to figure out which of our cars we were going to sell. We had a friends dad who really wanted to buy Nick's Honda, but after 2 weeks of not coming up with the money we decided to post both cars on ksl and see which one would sell. Within 10 min of posting the cars we had 5 calls for the Honda and 1 call for the Alero. Really?!? I had no idea they would be so popular. Well we ended up selling Nick's "Hot Talmale" Honda Civic and now he will be driving the Alero. We hope to save up enough money to get him a newer smaller car but problably not for a while. The new car is a Hundi Sonata. We named it Sonny and we really like it so far. It has 44K miles on it and is a little bigger than the Alero. (I need a picture...I'll get on it after my presidency meeting)
