Easter and General Conference

This weekend we went to Nanas for a little Easter party.  We had a delicious meal and a little egg hunt.  We were spoiled there!  Lots of presents and candy!  That night we decorated eggs and the next morning the Easter bunny brought lawn chairs, bubbles and sidewalk chalk for the kids.  Nick got a new fishing pole and I got a certificate for new shoes and so flower pots.

Chad and Natalie Johnson and their family came for general conference and the kids played bingo while we watched.  Enjoyed their company and the spirit that come from conference.

Children's Museum

Aunt Julia and Wes took us to the Museum of Natural Curiosity for our spring break.  WE spent several hours there and the kids had a blast.

Spring Break Projects

This spring break we were busy trying to complete some projects.  Nick spent 3 days building a much needed shed.  He came up with the design and built it from scratch.  Keith came up for some time and helped him.  We still need to add the trim and fill in the foundation a little more, but I love how it turned out and that we now have a place for the snowblower, lawn mower, strollers, etc.

While Nick worked on the shed I worked on cleaning out by the creek.  Lots of work...and I don't have after shots since I am still working on it, but here are the before and during shots.

We painted the old fence, stained the garage door and repainted the fading light fixtures.  I also finished the two benches that I helped build.
