Play Time

I love watching  my girls play!  They are good friends and I am so glad!  Hopeflly they will always be close.  Avey set up this little table for her and her baby all by herself.  It was so cute!

Easter Fun

Last week was a bit busy and crazy.  Josephs family came from Missouri and Noah got pretty sick.  He ended up with a staph infection and was in Primary Childrens for 4 days.  We went down there one night and the next morning while the girls were at a friends I went down again and played with the boys.  We had a small Easter party at a neighbors one day and the girls got the hang of how you gather eggs.  Then on Friday, we left for Price.  We stopped in Lehi to see Nana and Papa.  They got the girls the movie Frozen and the girls loved watching it while we drove.  In Price we mostly just hung out, ate yummy food, visited and played card games.  Mom gave a great devotional about what Easter is really about.  I loved being with my family, even though I missed the Hatches.

Elder Sidwell

This week we said goodbye to Uncle Jeremy as he left to the MTC to prepare for his mission.  We went to Eagle Mountain on Tuesday night for dinner and then to the church for his setting apart.  It was a sweet blessing and we all felt so grateful to be there.  He is going to make such a great missionary and we couldn't be more proud!

Making Beds

Every morning Molly is responsible to make her own bed.  Today she made it with Avey in it!

Date Night

A few weeks ago a friend of mine offered to  watch the girls so we could get a date.  It has been a while since we have got to go so I was excited.  I planned the date and we went to dinner and then to a book store.  I had these certain things we had to find and then we got back together and talked about them.  Things like, a recipe that you could make for your spouse, a quiz to take together, a book about a place you want to visit, a book from your childhood, a love poem, etc.  It was a bunch of fun!  Here are a few pics from our date.

Conference Weekend

We enjoyed a wonderful conference weekend.  On Friday I took Molly to get her dance pictures.  I didn't end up buying them because they were so expensive so these are the only ones I got.  Cute!

That night we went to Salt Lake and met with some friends Jared and Ashley Jones for dinner and glow in the dark mini-golf.
Saturday we went to John and Julias for the first session of conference and enjoyed yummy cinnamon rolls.  Then between sessions we went to a church for a surprise 85th Birthday for my grandpa.  I wasn't always close to my grandpa growing up, but having that year in Price helped me to grow closer to him.  He has such a tender heart and is so loving.  I love how he loves my girls too!

Then we were off to Eagle Mountain to enjoy the last of conference and the weekend with the Sidwells.  Jeremy will be leaving to the MTC tomorrow, so it was our last get together with just him and my family.  He is such a good uncle and friend.  I am so excited for him!

April Fools

Nick did a little trick on a the girls.  He told them if they ate their breakfast, they could have a brownie that he made the night before.  They love what they got and thought it was so silly.

Monkey George Cake

I made a cake last week for a friends daughters birthday.  It was a curious George birthday.  Molly used to call it Monkey George, hence the title.  Molly helped me by making her own cake.

March Sickies

The kids both had a few little sickies this last month, and both a little unexplained.  One morning Molly woke up early and told Nick she didn't feel well.  She said she was hot.  Nick told her to take off her jammies and when I got up, this is what I found.  She fell asleep trying to get dressed.

She ended up throwing up in her cereal bowl and that was it.  Nothing else.

Avey ended up with some hives the week after her shots.  I think it was something she ate but never found out what it was.
